CityGate Overview
The residential complex CityGate is about to be completed: Two further buildings with a total of almost 200 apartments and additional attractive offers for residents are currently being constructed on the site.
In 2001, the Basellandschaftliche Pensionskasse acquired the former MIBA site between the SBB railway station and the St. Jakob Park. The site was divided into four sections, two of which have already been developed: On construction site C there is a building mainly used for offices, while on construction site D the Senevita Gellertblick residence offers retirement and nursing homes. From September 1, 2020, 117 new apartments will be ready for occupancy in building A and 78 in building B from October 1, 2020, . The new apartments will be located in the new building.
